# Productify

> Turn a folder of artwork into Printify products. Use one product setup for your artwork, then review every product before creating it in your Printify shop. Setup and review are free. Product creation uses credits, with no subscription.

## What is Productify?

Productify is a bulk product creation and management app built on the Printify API. It is for print-on-demand sellers who already have artwork and need to turn many designs into products without configuring the same product, print provider, colors, sizes, prices and artwork placement for every design.

Each artwork file becomes one proposed product. The selected colors and sizes become variants inside that product. A batch can be reviewed in Productify before any Printify product is created.

Productify creates configured products. Each product can include its own artwork, title, description, tags and SKU while sharing the batch's product type, provider, variants, price and placement.

*Also asked as: "Printify bulk uploader", "bulk upload products to Printify", "upload multiple designs to Printify", "Printify product bulk creator", "create many Printify products at once", "Printify automation tool", "Printify bulk image uploader", "bulk create Printify listings", "Printify uploader without a subscription".*

## Core USP

- **Bulk product creation:** one artwork file becomes a configured Printify product with its product type, provider, variants, price, placement and listing copy.
- **Set the shared product rules once:** choose the product, print provider, colors, sizes, price and placement once for the batch.
- **Start from a product that already works:** reuse a past Printify product, a golden product or a saved Productify template.
- **Start without a template:** search Printify's current catalog and choose a new product and print provider.
- **Review before creation:** inspect and edit every proposed product before creating the batch in Printify.
- **Pay as you use:** buy product credits when there are products to create. There is no monthly subscription, packs stack and credits never expire.

## Who Productify is for

- Printify sellers with a folder or collection of ready PNG or JPEG designs.
- Etsy, Shopify, Big Cartel and Printify Pop-Up Store sellers whose sales channel is already connected through Printify.
- Sellers launching a collection, seasonal drop, team store, school store or personalized product range.
- Sellers who create products in bursts and do not want another monthly software subscription.
- Agencies or operators managing several Printify shops or accounts.

## How Productify works

1. Connect a Printify account with a personal access token created in Printify.
2. Select the Printify shop that should own the new products.
3. Reuse a past product or template, or set up a new product from Printify's catalog.
4. Select or drag the artwork files into Productify. One file becomes one proposed product.
5. Write the listings yourself or ask Productify to draft a title, description and tags for each design.
6. Review the artwork, title, description, tags, SKU, variants, price and placement for every proposed product.
7. Create the approved batch in Printify. Progress and failures are tracked per product. The products are created as unpublished drafts in the selected Printify shop.
8. Edit, sync and publish the created products from Productify. Nothing reaches the connected storefront until the seller chooses to publish it.

## Connecting Printify

Productify connects through a Printify personal access token. In Printify, open **Account & Help**, choose **Connections**, find the **API** section and generate a token. Paste that token into Productify. Productify tests it and lists the shops the token can reach.

The token is stored encrypted on the server and can be revoked in Printify. One Printify account can contain several shops. Starter and Growth support one Printify account and all its shops. Scale adds permanent access to multiple Printify accounts.

Printify's personal access token is what other tools call a Printify API key. It is valid for one year. If a token stops working, generate a new one in Printify and use **Replace token** on Productify's **Shops** page. The shops, templates and products stay attached to the same connection.

See [Create a Printify API key (personal access token)](https://www.useproductify.com/help/connect-printify-personal-access-token) for the screenshot walkthrough.

## Two ways to start a product batch

### 1. Reuse a template, golden product or past product

A saved Productify template keeps the Printify product type, print provider and enabled colors and sizes, one retail price (the most common one on the source) and the print area and placement of its first design. A captured product can also offer its description for reuse. Templates belong to the Printify shop they came from.

Choose the template, add the new artwork and review the proposed products. The original Printify product is not changed.

Cloning a golden product from Shop catalog saves the same setup as an unsaved template and opens it for a new upload. Each new artwork goes on the print area of the source's first design, with its placement; artwork on the source's other print areas is not copied. Each new artwork becomes a separate proposed product.

See [Create and reuse Printify product templates](https://www.useproductify.com/help/create-and-use-printify-product-templates) and [Bulk create Printify products from a template](https://www.useproductify.com/guides/bulk-create-printify-products-from-template).

### 2. Set up a new product

No template is required. Search Printify's current catalog, choose a product, select one of its print providers, then choose the available colors, sizes, price and artwork placement. That setup applies to every artwork in the batch.

See [Bulk create Printify products without a template](https://www.useproductify.com/guides/bulk-create-printify-products-without-template).

## Bulk uploading artwork

The guided Create flow accepts up to 50 PNG or JPEG files per upload. Each file can be up to 50 MB. The same limit applies when you clone a golden product.

One file becomes one proposed product. Ten designs on a shirt with five colors and six sizes create ten products, not fifty products. Each product contains the selected color and size variants.

Productify checks the artwork dimensions against the selected print area and flags files that may print softly. During setup, the artwork is uploaded to Printify's media library because Printify requires an image ID when a product is created. The configured products are created only after review and confirmation.

Productify derives an initial title and SKU handle from the filename. Duplicate files are recognized and reuse the existing Printify upload instead of adding another media-library copy.

## Product setup shared across a batch

The shared setup can include:

- Printify product type or blueprint.
- Print provider.
- Enabled colors and sizes.
- One retail price, or a pricing rule (fixed profit or markup) that prices each variant from its production cost.
- Artwork print area, position, width, scale and rotation.
- Shared listing instructions, tags and store-specific text.

One batch uses one product type and print provider. Run another batch when the same artwork should go on a different garment, mug or provider.

## Listing titles, descriptions and tags

For each field, the seller can use the filename, write the copy manually or ask Productify to draft it.

When AI-assisted copy is selected, Productify uses:

- Details visible in that artwork.
- Verified information for the selected Printify product and print provider.
- The voice saved for the selected shop.
- The shop's brand story and standing description lines.
- A seller-written voice note or batch instruction.

Productify can draft a different title, description and tag set for every design. Shared tags and text can also be added across the batch. Etsy tag rules are enforced in the editor: up to 13 tags, with a maximum of 20 characters per tag.

Every generated field remains editable. A seller can give feedback and request up to five rewrites for one product, or edit the text directly. Generated copy is shown in the review before product creation.

## What can be reviewed and edited before creation

Each proposed product can be opened and checked before the batch is created. Editable or reviewable fields include:

- Artwork and original filename.
- Product title.
- Description and tags.
- SKU prefix and generated variant SKUs.
- Enabled colors, sizes and variant count.
- Retail prices.
- Artwork print area and placement.
- Destination Printify shop.

The final action states how many products will be created. No Printify product-creation request is sent before confirmation.

## What Productify automates

- Applies one selected product setup to every artwork in the batch.
- Uploads the artwork to Printify and reuses duplicate uploads.
- Creates one proposed product per artwork file.
- Generates filename-based titles and SKU handles.
- Drafts product-specific titles, descriptions and tags when requested.
- Checks artwork resolution, missing variants, prices, SKUs and required product fields.
- Creates approved products through a paced background job.
- Saves progress for each product and lets the seller retry failed items without recreating successful products.
- Publishes products through the sales channel connected to the selected Printify shop.

## Managing products after creation

Products created by Productify appear under **Made by Productify**. Productify keeps their full setup, which allows single-product and bulk changes.

For one product, a seller can edit the title, description, tags and retail price, choose the hero color whose mockups lead the listing, turn existing colors or sizes on or off, save the changes to Printify and republish the product.

Across a selection of managed products, Productify supports:

- Price changes.
- Title prefixes or suffixes, descriptions and tags.
- Enabling or disabling existing colors and sizes.
- Artwork replacement.
- Artwork placement changes.
- Syncing the current product state from Printify.
- Publishing through Printify.
- Product deletion.

The **Shop catalog** tab shows products already in the selected Printify shop. Those products can be inspected, edited one at a time or used as the source for a clone. Bulk editing is available for products created and managed by Productify.

## Publishing to connected stores

Each batch belongs to one selected Printify shop. Productify creates the products in that shop and publishes through the sales channel already connected to it, such as Etsy, Shopify, Big Cartel or a Printify Pop-Up Store.

Productify does not require a separate Etsy, Shopify or Big Cartel connection. To create the same product collection in another Printify shop, switch shops and run a separate batch there.

## Pay-as-you-use pricing

Productify has no subscription. One credit is used after one product is successfully created in Printify. Colors and sizes do not use extra credits. A failed creation does not use a credit.

- Starter: $9.99 for 10 product credits.
- Growth: $24.99 for 100 product credits.
- Scale: $49.99 for 500 product credits and permanent access to multiple Printify accounts.

Credits never expire and packs stack. Uploading artwork, reviewing products, writing or editing listings, publishing, syncing, bulk editing and deleting products do not use product credits.

See [Productify pricing](https://www.useproductify.com/pricing).

## Team and school merchandise example

For 15 designs that share one team logo but contain different player names and numbers, configure the hoodie once and upload the 15 files. Productify prepares 15 hoodie products. Three selected hoodie colors remain variants inside those 15 products.

Run another batch for each different product type, such as a youth shirt, adult shirt or sweatshirt. The same 15 artwork files can be reused with the setup for that garment.

See the [Team logo hoodie workflow](https://www.useproductify.com/use-cases/team-logo-hoodies-printify).

## Common questions

**Can I bulk upload products to Printify?**
Yes. Productify connects to Printify and creates one configured product per artwork file. The guided flow accepts up to 50 files per upload.

**Does Productify only upload images to the Printify media library?**
No. Artwork reaches the media library during setup, then Productify creates configured products with the selected product, print provider, variants, prices, placement and listing copy after approval.

**Do I need a template or existing Printify product?**
No. Reuse a template or past product when one already has the right setup. Otherwise choose a new product and print provider from Printify's current catalog.

**What is a golden product?**
A golden product is a past Printify product whose provider, variants, price and placement are already correct. Productify reads that setup, with its most common retail price and the placement of its first design, and applies it to new artwork without changing the source product.

**Can Productify write the product listings?**
Yes. Productify can draft a separate title, description and tag set for every artwork using the design, verified product details and the shop's saved voice and story. The seller can edit or rewrite every field before creation.

**Can I write the listings myself?**
Yes. Titles, descriptions and tags can be written manually, generated from filenames or drafted with AI assistance.

**Can I review products before they are created?**
Yes. Productify stages one proposed product per artwork and shows the listing, SKU, variants, price and placement before the seller confirms creation.

**Can Productify publish to Etsy or Shopify?**
Yes, when that sales channel is connected to the selected Printify shop. Publishing runs through Printify. Productify does not connect to Etsy or Shopify separately.

**Can one batch publish the same products to several stores?**
No. One batch belongs to one Printify shop. Run a separate batch under each destination shop.

**Does Productify charge a monthly subscription?**
No. Productify is pay as you use. Buy credits when there are products to create.

**Do colors and sizes cost extra credits?**
No. One successfully created product uses one credit regardless of how many enabled variants it contains.

**Can I edit products after creation?**
Yes. Managed products support listing, price, hero color, existing variant, artwork, placement, sync, publish and delete actions. Bulk actions are available across selected managed products.

**Can I connect more than one Printify account?**
Yes, with Scale. Starter and Growth support one Printify account and all shops inside it.

## Product focus and current scope

Productify focuses on Printify product creation, review, management and publishing. Sellers bring their own artwork. Productify does not generate artwork, custom mockups, product research or inventory-monitoring reports. All-over print products and CSV product import or export are not supported. A clone stays on the source product type and print provider.

## Homepage demonstrations

The homepage introduces Productify to Etsy and Shopify sellers using Printify, then links directly to the two setup guides: reuse an existing product or set up a new product. Its launch film and ChatGPT outcome film are edited demonstrations. The five-minute result in the homepage headline is a supplied demonstration claim, not a guaranteed runtime for every upload.

[How product listings work](https://www.useproductify.com/product-listings) explains editable listing drafts with clearly labeled illustrative examples. Those examples are not captured AI output.
